WHAT? A welcoming community of at least 100 people, eating food grown within 100 miles of their home for 100 days. This is a collective effort: skills, knowledge and support will be widely shared in our group to ensure every committed person can participate regardless of their particular resources.

100 Mile Manitoba Food Guide
www.100milemanitoba.org has been updated with a new FOOD GUIDE. Check it out to find local products and farms. Let me know if you would like to be added to the list.
Thanks for spearheading this initiative. I just wanted to let you know that I'm a new CSA near Brandon, Manitoba. I ran a test market last year with some friends, and have begun taking on more members this spring.
One of our unique points is that we use homebrewed bio-diesel to reduce the costs - of all kinds - of delivering from our farm to Brandon (about 50 miles).
